Mark S. Parlier, R.A. NCARB
Principal, Project Manager
Mark joined his father J. Clyde Parlier's architectural practice in 1989 and since that time has worked closely in all aspects of project management from design and production to supervision. Previous experience includes a variety of projects with the State of Florida, Department of Natural Resources, Park Design & Construction. Also, while residing in Tallahassee, he was project manager for a local architecture firm and involved in projects such as a county health office, a small television studio, offices for a legal firm, and the FDLE complex.
Since moving to Lake Wales, Mark has completed numerous projects for the School Board of Polk County including designing classroom additions; campus conversions at Brigham Academy and Lincoln Avenue Academy Magnet schools; cafeteria remodels; media center additions; administrative suites, and more. Recent projects range from a major remodel to the Lake Wales Senior High School campus to a 16 classroom, two-story design to Eastside Elementary School in Haines City. In the latter project, the historic 1920s two-story building was restored to accommodate administrative offices and additional classroom space.
The adaptive re-use of the former Lake Wales City Hall (now renamed the JD Alexander Center) was an historic project for Polk State College that created needed classroom and community space.
